This is our studio's work-study program for those persons interested in training in the discipline of Ballroom Dancing. Originally open only to those seeking training to teach dance, we now welcome applicants who simply enjoy dancing as a hobby, as well as those persons who are hoping to work in the field. This studio "volunteer-type" program offers top quality ballroom dance instruction, as well as professional training in dance education. The program requires a commitment of 8 to 10 hours per week and for a period of no less than one year. No previous dance experience is required.
Our WDWD program is an opportunity to join our studio family and dedicate your time to helping out our amazing staff and students. The time you dedicate to our studio will be rewarded with the gift of you, yourself, learning how to dance. Duties consist of assisting in our weekly classes, workshops, and outings. As part of the program you will also have the privilege of attending exclusive dance sessions and teacher training. Mind you, you do not need prior dance experience, just a genuine desire to learn and help teach others. And on that subject…
You could lead you to be invited to train to teach at our studio!
Wow, what a deal! Participating in fun events, making others feel welcome, helping people learn, making sure everyone is having a good time, smiling a lot --
all while learning how to dance yourself with the potential of it leading to greater things.
